Welcome To Stressed Out Teacher

My name is Ashley, and I am an itinerant Teacher of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
When I graduated, I began my new job right away. I work for an absolutely amazing agency that creates a great environment for all of the teachers and therapists who work there. We really are like one giant family! Each person at my office helped me immensely my first year, and they still continue to do so :) But even with all of the help and support I was given, I still felt like I was a little bit lost in what I should be doing for my kids. I looked online for examples, lesson plans, ideas, ANYTHING and I always felt like I couldn't come across anything that I was really looking for.

Thats where this blog comes in! Now that I have been in the game for a while, and have had amazing role models to shape me into the teacher I am, I want to help do that same thing for others! I am ALL about collaboration, team work, and trying new ideas; I hope that this blog will help you enjoy these things too!

I want to share with you all everything that I have learned thus far as my first years as an itinerant Teacher of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Lesson plans, toy ideas, evaluation charts, books, resources, literally anything that I can think of that I've wanted easy access to to help me be the best teacher that I can be for my kids.

If there is something that you want added onto the blog that you think would be helpful for other teachers, SLPs and SPEDs, email me and let me know!

Together, we can create a place of learning and support for all of us
