What are they and what do they do?
FM systems are wireless assistive hearing devices that enhance the use of hearing aids, cochlear implants and also assist people who are heard of hearing but do not wear listening devices.
Brands:Roger, Amigo, ReSound, Starkey, Siemens, Scola
Roger hands down, creates the most up-to-date and technologically advanced FM systems. They have numerous systems to use including:
Roger Touchscreen: Compatible with almost every hearing instrument, cochlear implant and bone-anchored hearing device. It also allows multiple receivers and microphones to be connected in a network with simple touch commands. My only experience with FM systems are the Roger FM systems. They are hands down the best systems that you can have for your listening devices. Talk to your audiologist about FM systems when considering hearing aid brands. The three mains cochlear implants brands are compatible with the Roger systems.
