Autism Primer - EI

Hey guys!

So I have to take 10 hours of trainings online each year to continue to hold my EI credentials.

My go-to place is almost always EITTOC (http://www.eittoc.com). They have great courses to take and they are pretty affordable! The best part is, you can choose whether you want the course to count for just continuing education credits OR count for continuing educations credits AND CEUs!

Hitting two birds with one stone here, am I right?!

I just finished up one, the autism primer! I learned about autism in undergrad, but a lot of my knowledge about it was fading away. I don't personally have children on my caseload with autism (as of right now), but I feel like keeping up to date with the signs, symptoms, terminology and intervention is really important. There is always to much to learn through these things, you never know when you're going to need it!

My graduate school has a great ABA program (go Teachers College!) and I learned a lot about ABA while going there, I think that its an amazing intervention style that truly shows results!

I always want to try my best to be prepared for any student I might have. I highly suggest taking this primer course!
